Dear Students and Parents,
It is hard to believe summer vacation has already come to an end, but we are entering one of my favorite times of the year! There is nothing quite as exciting as a new school year. The excitement of a new beginning and possibilities shine in the eyes of the students and the school is buzzing with new plans and ideas from teachers.
I am so happy that I will not only be meeting new students and families, but I'll also be able to working with students and families from when I was teaching the third grade! As you embark in the 5th grade, remember that all students must learn the required 5th grade common core standards, and that we all learn differently. I hope my classroom will be able to support all of your diverse needs so that each one of you has a successful year! In order to do this, we must work together.
Let's make the 5th grade the best year for all of you at Harvard Elementary!
Sincerely,
Mr. Edwards
